Mowing lawns today. In some ways it’s disheartening to be working as a physical labourer after getting a degree, but considering all I’ve accomplished and will accomplish, I like to take advantage of the opportunity, to introspect, to be reminded that life is dirty and real. Or nasty, brutish and short, depending who you ask. It’s also a great opportunity to stare at things, to study light; I spend the day making mental photographs.
